Further Reading Many books have been written on Product Design and Development and NPD / NPI. Four of the favourites are:

If you don't want to do it yourself, an SEO company being paid monthly should detail exactly what they are doing for you. | Any link exchanges promising hundreds or links immediately upon joining should be avoided unless the only search engine you care about is MSN. Using a link exchange as the only way you get links will also not be a path you want to wander down. Exchanging links with every site under the sun is also bad. The first two focus on the process while the others concentrate more on the design and NPD activities themselves. Cooper is the father of the 'Stage-Gate' process for managing NPI. I like the McGrath book because it is short(!), and covers a range of NPI process issues. Baxter's book covers many design-related tools and techniques. Ulrich & Eppinger's book is takes more of an engineering perspective.
